We have introduced two new driver tuition courses to help you improve your lap times. Each course teaches drivers to think differently and reviews how you drive a kart. We are confident we can help all drivers improve their race craft!

LEVEL ONE
Features: Driving both a single seater/ two seater kart & a track walk
Price: $150 for 2 hours
Format: You will arrive at CAKC and be greeted by your instructor who will talk to you to understand what you are looking to achieve. After a safety briefing you will then be out on the track so we can benchmark your current performance. Your instructor will then talk to you about a variety of kart functions including the effective use of the brakes, accelerator, and your decision making skills when driving. They will also give practical & visual demonstrations to help you understand how a kart works. This will be followed by a track walk to explore braking, entry & exit points. We will then ask you to drive our instructor around in the two-seater karts before switching places and our instructor showing you the circuit. The school culminates with another benchmarking session and performance improvement review, followed by a driver debrief and recommended next steps based on your individual performance.

LEVEL TWO

Features: Focus on single seater with advanced driving techniques

Price: $150 for 2 hours

Format: You will arrive at CAKC and be greeted by your instructor who will talk to you to understand what you are looking to achieve. After a safety briefing, you will then be out on the track so we can benchmark your current performance. Your instructor will then talk to you about a variety of advanced kart functions including throttle feathering, weight transfer, advanced cornering and consistent lapping. They will also give practical and visual demonstrations to help you understand how a kart works. The school culminates with another benchmarking session and performance improvement review, followed by a driver debrief and recommended next steps based on your individual performance.
